Review: Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer - Team Zissou (Limited Edition)

*This review contains products which were purchased by me for review. All opinions are my own.*

It's Sunday afternoon already. Where does the weekend go? What have you done this weekend? My husband & I painted the stairs and porch leading to the front door of our house yesterday. It looks fantastic. The color I decided on is named Navajo Red. It matches the bricks of the house rather well. If you're interested in seeing photos, check out my Instagram (the link is on the left hand side of my blog page, under 'Social Media).

I have another Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer review to share today. This is a Limited Edition color: Team Zissou. Team Zissou can be described as a limited edition for the Fourth of July consisting of a white crelly base with a silver/rainbow shimmer, red, white, and blue hexes and squares, and blue hearts.

Again, Julie is in Beta testing & doesn't have her polishes available to the public for purchase yet. Right now her prices are fantastic compared to other indie brands. Only $7.50! Obviously, the cost may differ later in time if there's a change in glitter, formula, etc.
This is three coats of Team Zissou, no undies! It is such a lovely crelly polish. Completely buildable upon itself, or would work well over white undies. I waited about three minutes between coats to make sure the polish was a bit dry before I added another layer.

The formula wasn't thick or goopy. It contained no foul odor. I had varied results when it came to glitter. Getting glitter was more successful if I gave the bottle a good shake, then dipped in the brush. I topped off my mani with my favorite topcoat HK Girl by Glisten & Glow.
I love this nail polish! It reminds me of the 4th of July, Memorial Day, Veterans Day- Anything Patriotic! I love my country so much. As a former military wife, I bleed Army green, red, white & blue! Hooah!

This is post two of five total. I have even more Blue Eyed Girl Lacquer goodies coming your way soon! But this is all I have for the time being. Check in next week for another review. <3 Enjoy the remaining part of your weekend & have a safe and fun 4th of July!
